Alien/Robot Press is the brainchild of founder T. Light Sylvan’s desire to create, discover, and publish meaningful, eclectic stories. After many trials and travails, Alien/Robot Press was born.
It is a small independent publishing print that connects readers to unique and eerie poetry collections, short stories, novels, and more, by multifaceted authors with distinct creative visions from south Texas and beyond.
About the Author
T. Light Sylvan is a Houston native who has been captivating readers since 2012 with their thought-provoking speculative works. They now publish a variety of fiction under Alien/Robot Press which explores stories with themes of identity, self-discovery, and of course, love and hell. Sylvan draws inspiration from many wells. Bret Easton Ellis, Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, Ryan Coogler, Tananarive Due, Shunichiro Watanabe, Jordan Peele, Rumiko Takahashi, Junji Ito, and Richard Calder, among others. And music—so much music. They are currently pursuing a degree in Film Studies and Creative Writing.
